how about stop using race gas. look up torco race fules if you are gonna run higher octane. If you run leaded race gas you will burn the o2's all the time.

I have heard of O2's that are lead resistant, but I'm not sure where you can get them.

I never heard of them, but if there are some, I'd like to know.

still going thru o2's with unleaded race gas? probably too rich. might try switiching to the corvette o2's they seem to take more abuse than the f-body o2.

I've heard that the Denso O2's will stand up to leaded fuel.

rule of thumb

O2's dont like lead.

Its just about the fastest way to kill an O2 sensor.

leaded eats em up..been there, done that. Was buying 106 from a local round track that told me it was unleaded but they were just a wee bit wrong Try and get some unleaded unless the Denso's are lead friendly

Turbo buick boys report that the denso sensors are in fact much more lead tolerent than any other sensor. They regularly run c16 with their 20+ lbs of boost and get from
3 to 10 times more life from a denso sensor. They have better sheilding and a unique
construction to make this happen. They don't cost any more than the delco junk ,
what have you got to lose?Oxygensensor.com and look up your application, don't get
the universals, get them application specific preterminatated.
