Why would you need this?? Just saw this(CLICK HERE) in the new catalog and was curious. I read the description, so I know what it does, but I've never heard of anyone using one of these.
More voltage to the fuel pump will compensate
(or overcompensate) for flow/pressure drops
and pump harness losses. Because the business
end pressure regulation is poor on these cars
(being back by the tank) and pump wiring is
known to be kind of marginal for the current
demands, it probably has some value here.

A fuel pump "hotwire" kit similar to this is a staple mod in the Turbo Buick world. Some of the sponsors that sell fuel pump kits include or offer a fuel pump kit. It looks like that piece is similar.
