Young at Byunspeed told me I could ghetto rig it with spliced wires. Would be cheaper than the ~30ish$ cost on the extension.

U could also get vette o2sensors. They come with a longer wire. No getto rig or extentions.

Splicing is not ghetto if you do it right. Sorry guys electronics major here. All you need is a soldering iron, solder, some heat shrink, and a heat gun. I would trust that over a plug and play deal. Now using butt splice's, or twisting the wires and using electrical tape that is ghetto on an application like that. But to each his own.

Agreed. With that said I didn't wanna screw with that so I bought the plug in extensions. I guess a good idea would be to get the vette O2s when you NEED new O2s, then you could sell the extensions to someone. O2 sensors aren't that cheap to just buy them for the hell of it.

I agree with you 100% but it has been my experience that a lot of people do not have the ability or tools or knowledge to do it the right way (IC- US NAVY) not that it is complicated or what not just some do not have the same exposure as others have had. Plug and play seams to be a lot easer for most.

I agree. Folks I've known could tear down/rebuild an engine that couldn't do jack when it came to wiring/soldering.FWIW-I have electronics experience and still went with plug and play.

Yeah that's cool. I just have the tools at my disposal. No reason to let them set there What are extensions now like $30 $40 dollars.
