Cost of shipping a short block
Cost of shipping a short block Just like the title says anyone know the aproximate cost of shipping a shortblock with a crate. Im thinking of selling one would truck freight be about 200 to 250.
I paid Fedex $75.00 from Cleveland to Indiana ( Lingenfelter ). I had to take the shortblock to them at their dock. I used the 'mini-crate' that Lingenfelter sent me the new one on; me and my wife picked it up and put it in the back of my Aztek. It's light with no heads or fluids.
I found NO trucking company that would come to my residential street, of if they did they wanted an extra $100 to get it ON the truck from your driveway/garage.
