Loosen up the y-pipe bolts pry it down some and shove some 2X4's in the areas where it's hitting tighten it back up REAL good so it keeps this from. Pry down some more and remove wood.

Thats one way it might fix. Worked on my friends car and I'm gonna do it to mine soon. And we both have the mufflex Y-pipe bracket too.

Good advice. Some guys have installed poly motor mounts as a cure. I installed my poly mounts when I installed the headers.

My Y pipe was actually hitting on my stock torque arm. It eventually made a good enough dent in the pipe that there wasn't usually any vibration/noise. I just installed a BMR Adjustable Torque arm and now I have much more clearance between the Y pipe and Torque Arm. I notice a lot less vibration/bumping now. Having the poly bushing in the clamshell on the tranny prolly helps too. I also had the mufflex hanger and it didn't work that well.

Just cut out the floor board, you don't need it anyways..
