Default need help fast!!! please

i just installed pacesetter lt headers. got it all back to gether and it's not running right. when you first start it, it revs up to 3,000 rpm. then idles down and tries to run at 3oo rpm. then repeats this cycle evry ten seconds or so, if it will stay running

make sure all your plug wires are on tight. which gaskets did you use?

first just go over all of it making sure everything is plugged in. Is it throwing any codes?

Try dissconecting the 02 sims.Or you might have dammaged one of the front 02 sensors, those are easy enough to check. Best thing to do is see what codes its throwing. Sry I couldn't help you out more

Another thing that will cause that is the temp sending unit in the drivers side head.When you were installing the headers you may have broken it or yanked the wire.Its on the drivers head in the front,above the #1 plug hole.Just throwing out more ideas.

i got it fixed. i purchased 2 new o2 sensors and an obd2 scanner. i was getting a P0108 map high voltage code. i installed the o2's, the tsp y-pipe and hooked the y-pipe into the rest of my exhaust. i fired it up and it was still doing the same thing. my buddy started the car ad i found the vac leak. it was the egr pipe that goes to the intake. it had sucked the rubber gasket partially into the hole. i fixed that and it runs fine now. except for the small header leak on the driver side, lol.

i think the computer was trying do some learning as well. thanks eveyone for all your help.
