Default oil breathers??

Has anyone put one on there LS1? Is it worth it to pull off the oil fill neck and put one in?

I like them. I put one on mostly for looks but in theory they reduce crankcase pressure.

I had the Metco breather on my WS6 for a while. All you have to do to install it is take the oil fill cap off (like your going to add oil) and the base of the breather (it's a two piece kit) screws right into the oil fill neck.

I took it off after a while because I really didn't see a need for it in my application. I originally bought it because I thought it might help with my oil useage issue, but it made no difference.

If you're going to do it, make sure you remove the entire pcv system all together. Otherwise, don't do it.

Put the breather in the whole where the pcv valve goes and just plug the intake tube. No more oil consumption!! The end

Do you mean just take out the entire black plastic part that's on the valve cover?

Would one of those fit with a BMR STB on?

Because the PCV is a closed, metered system. All intake air must go through the MAF. If you put a beather in and keep the rest of the PCV system, your engine will be taking in unmetered air, and throw off your calibration.

Probably wouldn't throw a light, and you might not even notice it, but it's still not the right way to do it.
