Default Installed the Corsa today....feelings are mixed

Well, it seems to fit nicely, and looks terrific. Idle is nice sounding, but cruising I have to wonder if my car is running or stalled out. WOT is NOT so badass as many have said, maybe on the outside it sounds great at WOT, but inside, I miss my rumbly wake the neighborhood up dual 3" bullets of the headers.
It could be cause I am temporarily running stock manifolds, cats and Y pipe, until the Kooks 1 7/8" headers get back here. I hope thats all it is, I'm a little bummed. This quietness gives me no excuse not to hear the phone ringing when the wifey calls

00BLKSS, aka Chris, said I'm just not used to the rear exit and that it sounds damn nice pulling away. I need to have the wife or Chris hop in and do a drive by, I feel blue.

Delete the Cats, add LT’s and good flowing Y with flow Master merger will make it sound awesome when you are idling and cruising and INSANE at WOT.

I wouldn't trade mine either!

Cool

Come on now... It's just the restrictive parts before the cat-back.
Sounds like it'll be back to normal when you get the good stuff back on.

Wouldn't it sound better with cats?

Any other exhaust I've heard sounds much better with lt's and a y with cats compared to lt's and an ory.

my buddy runs QTP, with their ORY and corsa and it sounds awesome, just wait until you get the LT's/ORY, then see how it sounds. Your use to the TD's that rattled the inside of the car and your brain, this exits out the back so it will probably sound quieter.

If you havent seen, I had a little, lets say ordeal with my Kooks 1 7/8" SS Headers and Y Pipe Soon they will be back on.

I wouldnt say the PP 5.3 w/ TSP 231/237 112* cam is nasty, but what I have sitting in my new forged 347 is pretty mild:

Forged 12.4:1 compression 347, ET Performance 11* 225 Heads, EDC 231/242 .637/.622 @ 114* (ground for 300 shots of juice ) should sound ok with such a mild street setup huh? And to think, its only running 3 reverse manual shifted gears and a 4,000 stall...what a bummer

I agree, should be nice once the LTs are back in, and there is no way in hell I would run a catted Y unless I HAD to, I am good at loopholes so I wont bet there will ever be cats back on my car unless its temp like now.
Everyone behind says it sounds sweet, I just need a drive by to see I guess.

I bet it is because of the stock manifolds and exiting out the back. I know with my cutout open I can't hear anything inside the car and it sounds loud. Once its capped I feel like there is no sound coming from my car

Sorry Rex, had other things rolling. Trying to check the car before it hits the track again. Who has the black 4th gen, with silver stripe that lives westside, think flowmaster muffler? I walked on H-1 this afternoon, local guy too.

Yep, my buddy runs FLP LT's catless Y and corsa cat back and it's just insane sounding. It's hard to hold a conversation in the car unless we're sitting still. To me it's kinda raspy but still sounds good.
