Default SLP Performance Pacs

Does anybody have the "400 horsepower" performance pac from SLP on their cars? I am considering purchasing one for my 02 Trans Am. If you do have it, how is the quality and what is your best ET with it?

$3700 is a little bit much when you could buy a FAST 90mm Intake-$800, 90mm TB-$400, Better exhaust-$500, Cam-$250, port/polish heads-$250, gears-$500. Total-$2700. Then get better gains.

do some research around here man.. lots of good info..
SLP is overrated and most of their parts are not as good as the others and are priced very high and dont perform as well..

Their Headers are in my opinion terrible due to the poor ground clearance..

If i were you I would start to do the basic boltons for the car(ported throttle body, Headers, Pulley, Exhaust,Lid and so on)

that thin g is over priceds for the 40-50 wheel hp that you may get...but the slp dual dual catback is one of the best systems you can get..really good flow. Only thing is tha **** qeuit unless you put headers and a ory on it, but everything else in that performance pac is garbage....a set of pacesetter headers for 400, ory for 120 and a nice cam will get you way more power that slps performance pacs and cost you 1/2 the price.

1. You will see maybe 350rwhp, not 400.
2. SLP Headers are junk, performance wise as well as they hang low and will scrape on everything.
3. That predator programmer is junk. Get a good tune w/ LS1 Edit or HP tunners.
4. Rockers will show little gains, get a cam and skip the rockers.
5. You can get better gains for less $. Shop around.

I agree...they flow good and are stainless steel....
people get rid of them because they hang low...I have a pic in my sig that shows how low they hang...no worse than what your true duals will hang.

Get a set of used SLP heads...around $500.w/a ORY
FAST intake
a good cam and true duals...
if you have an auto get a stall.....

you will be thanking me later

Hmm.. That's a SLP Dual/Dual.

IMO that's the best catback made for a F-body.

I bet many here would agree with me
