You get the smell even without TD. If you don't have cat's you are going to still have that smell.

I have duals dumped before the axle, and have no gasses in the car. You have duals on your imaginary car?

Pull the seats(if you've still got'em)and carpet. Use a punch from under the car and pierce the metal. Drill a hole(or two), run the bolts through the holes from inside.... tack weld the bolt heads and reassemble w/lock washers. Good to go.

i ditched the stock mounts time ago.. i will take a pic of what i got tomorrow..

the metal only shakes between 1500 and 2000rpm... no more.. thats odd...

I will try to put more rubber between the duals and the mounting points or something...

I have TDs dumped and a cam. Even before the tune I rarely noticed any smell, and it was only if you're outside the car standing directly behind it and the wind is blowing just right. In the car at a stoplight with the windows down and the t-tops out I still dont smell it.

Do TD's really make the car rumble that much? Is the idle vibration increased that much? I'd really like a rumbly car... thought the only way I could do that would be to get a cam with at least 112 LSA... but that's a lil later on
I had open borlas and that was loud. My tsp duals make my car sound like a beast- very deep and loud. Car shakes and inside does rattle a bit. New engine mounts cut down the shaking and rattles. My neighbors hate me. The sound is crazy loud.
