Love my Dual/Dual.
Bah! That's the setup I had on my car and it sounded sweet as butter!
Goes to show how subjective exhaust selection can be.

I'm with you SouthFL.... I loved 2OTL with headers/ORY/cam as well. Sounded great.

You sure on that?

Always thought that the dual dual out flowed the 2OTL.

I don't think any other standard catback using a muffler actually "outflows" 2OTL. Maybe equal or close, but not better. I'm basing that on the fact that the muffler is a straight through design, and the fact that I've seen a Cam/LS6 Intake/Header/ORY plus other bolt-ons LS1 car only gain 2hp on the dyno going from 2OTL to a cutout. Dual/dual might come close, but personally I've never seen it beat numbers like that.

Yeah that what I was thinking as well. I remember seeing graph a while back where they only picked up 2 or 3 hp with a cutout on the dual dual as well.

Just curious

Don't get me wrong, dual/dual is a great system as well, I've owned both. It's just that I don't think power gains should be the deciding factor between the two because there is basically no difference. The only real difference between the two is sound and appearance, and that comes down to nothing more than personal preferance.

Oh, one undisputable factual advantage of the 2OTL..... it's lighter. This I know quite well, after having installed both on my WS6.

Yeah I totally agree...sound should be the deciding factor.
