air pump removal? what size serpentine belt to use?
on my 2001 z28 m6, I'm installing hooker header w/o cats. So I'm looking to remove the air pump.
Once the air pump is removed what size belt do I use?
Is the air pump easy to remove and worth it?
besides blocking off the header air provision and the side hole on the intake LID, whatelse needs to be blocked, protected or covered (electronics)
thanks to everyone that post advice!

The air pump isn't driven by the serpentine. It resides down by where the fog light is on the driver's side. Follow the rubber tubes and you'll find it.
Yes, it is easy to remove, yes it is worth it, yes you will burn in hell for removing it, and yes you should search around on here to find pics of exactly how to do it.
