LTs, ORY, and LM 1 exhaust is just a very sloppy and undefined sound. it is also one of the loudest exhausts you can have. I am going to order a dynomax bullet soon, because its sooo damn loud and doesnt have a well defined sound to it. But I dont hate it. its just very sloppy.

I installed a LM1 on a stock m6 car.. and what a sound.. i LOVE it. now i am building a stroker that will be evil cammed and hafe a headers/Y pipe. and it will be 100% loud and brutal

^^^^Keep the cats! it might sound like poo poo if you get rid of them. Plus I have heard of ppl running into other problem from gutting/ taking off their cats.

The only other thing you have to take into consideration in this thread is that for every 20 loudmouth owners I can show you 1 GMMG owner. It's kind of hard to compare the two when most people are biased towards the way their own car sounds.

For the unique bad *** sound get the GMMG. Yeah its pricey but because no one has it u get compliments all the time. LM I think is just nasty. Then when u add LTs it screams pull me over. I havent heard the LM2 so I cant say anything about that. With my Kooks LTs and their catted Y with my GMMG; my car sounds great. But living in cali with our stupid laws I know im to loud. However its not the loud where its going to drone like LM will. Its WOT when u can hear me a mile away.

Loundmouth is the ****. this will be my 3rd f-body with LM, just never had it on a ls1 or paired up with and ORY, but thats whats next, QTP's with a custom y-pipe.

no website or media player does an exhaust setup very much justice, it is just one of those thigs you have to hear in person....My loudmouth sounds WAY better than any sound clip on Ls1sounds.com...I mean I guess that could have something to do with my crappy speakers...

i love GMMG its just 400 bucks compared to 700 + if your on a budget get loud mouth and if you can afford it get GMMG. i like GMMG but didnt have the funds so i got loud mouth and ive gotten compliments from GMMG owners. its preference
