Nice write up.
Makes my wonder if you can do it by measuring the resistance of the tps with the throttle body off the car...I would assume that the resistance of the tps causes the voltage to vary???
Does anyone know for sure and what to shoot for?

I'm with Twister.
I've seen enough electronics issues on 'hundreds of parts-an-hour' build rate assemblies that I wouldn't think of trusting a mulitimeter reading over a measurement on the actual throttle blade...

i will be doing this as soon as it warms up a bit..and the snow is gone so i can do a couple WOT runs after without haveing to worry bout the snow

You folks are making this much too hard....
The TPS does not have to register 100%
to give full WOT fueling.....
...and I'll say again, there is no certain
voltage to shoot for. Get the TB blade at
a 90* angle and don't go -to- 4.75V.
This is an "old" mod, LOL, but a good one.
Concerns about the throttle cable not
moving far enough may be valid, although
I've never personally seen it.
Happy modding.
Edit to change the code set voltage.

Couldn't have said it better.
As far as the cable goes, I did have some issues with that. After I got the blade to 90* (by pulling it back, by hand) I found that the cable (by stepping on the gas pedal) wasn't pulling it all the way back to the bumpstop. I had to mess around with the cable adjuster thing, and then take out as much slack as I could. I put some spacers on the cable where it attaches to the gas pedal. It was kinda a PITA cuz just when you think you got it perfect, you find that the blade isn't retracting all the way back to idle. And you're idling at 1000 rpm.
So you go back to the drawing board.

Pefect write up, you can feel it (throttle response), but as for dyno and track times, I'd assume no/little change.
This write up would have been useless without such good pics. I vote sticky even though we all know nobody reads them

I just did this mod today and went from 4.35 volts to 4.65. I could definitley tell a difference goin from 92% throttle to 98% throttle.
