QUICK, ordering pacesetters, race header or 00-02 with egr?
the tsp duals system has no cats, which is alright, ohio just got rid of it's emissions program, but if the state decides to bring it back I need to beable to pass emissions, therefore I need to beable to install cats and have them function. But I do not tottally understand this EGR/AIR crap, it's making me crazy.
I would prefer to leave it all as is and have it hooked up to the new headers, as it was to the stock manifolds. That way all I would need to do is install cats if the E-check comes back someday. Can this be done with the 00-02 headers with EGR? race headers do not have this therefore I guess it can't be hooked up, which I wouldn't mind, but if I need emissions again i'm screwed.
What should I do?
Now, assuming I get the 00'-02' will the EGR/AIR crap hook up directly to it? and finally, if I decide to simply not using the EGR/AIR fittings and plug it, how can I disable it? I read the tutorials on removing it already.
So is there one or 2 fittings on the headers? I don't understand if the EGR/AIR stuff is the same thing, or they both are supplied off of one line to the header, or if there is a seperate fitting for AIR and EGR.
Disable are you talking about the codes, or the system its self
AFAIK there are 2 fittings one for the egr and one for the air, and they are supplied from different things
Maybe they meant for it to be 98'-00' and 01'-02'? crap
