TSP True Duals
but i also want it to be somewhat tame and have a good-sounding exhaust note. Not random noises. And i appologize in advance to any of those who take offense in the Search button and LS1sounds.com ordeal

Edit: for spelling errors
The bullets are the way to go but some people dont like their sound. However the bullets freaking flow! Theres also the Sweet thunders, they are not as loud but still close to the bullets. The problem is with the thunders is that they are pretty damn restrictive due to the 2.5" instead of 3"
Theres also the Spirals/Twisters they have a really good sound. Some people complain about a fluttering sound they get with them though. They flow pretty damn good as well.
Since it seems you have a stock cam right now go with the bullets.

Best sound...thats subjective. The bullets are going to be loud and nasty while the spirals are more refined - still pretty loud as well.
So best sound/flow is going to be the bullets. That sounds to be what you are looking for.
