Default Tips for aftermarket Catback?

what tips are some of you people using for aftermarket cat backs? i have a hooker cat back and the tips are so damn ugly, they stick out like a foot behind my bumper. in a few days im guna cut the exhaust before the tips so they tuck under the bumper. but im just curious as to what other tips you guys are using that look good. pics would be appreciated.

Scroll down till you see the section for "Megs" tips. These are very high quality stainless.

If you can't find anything you like there, places like summit and jegs sell many brands of tips, but not all are stainless though.

Go to magnaflow.com and check out their tips. If you find some you like, go check ebay. Search the word "magnaflow" and the part number listed on magnaflow's site, you can get them 1/2 price.

If you have 3" pipe and you want 3" inlet, you're going to have to look under the trucks/SUV section like i did. Most other tips (including those mechams) are like 2.5" inlet.

I have these tips on my true duals...

I had Hooker on my old thirdgen. Hooker makes the tailpipes a tad too long IMO. I cut the pipes like you said so that they would tuck up under the bumper. Did this on my buddy's 01 WS6 as well. I went ahead and got Borla for my 00, the Hooker tips aren't stainless and they did start to rust on my old car. That was without driving in bad weather.

Mecham tips are for 3" pipes

I dont remember if they were $80 a piece or for the pair...its been a long time. I have had no problems with mine at all and they always get compliments.

I ditched the tips from my hooker system and am running some oval shaped single tips...they don't look very aggresive...maybe almost like the car is a v6 (sleeper look). They are somewhat like the meecham tips that another guy posted but not so elongated/wide.

Some of the intercooled borla tips would look good.

I actually like the Hooker tips. Of course, that could be because I got a pair for $25.

They are stainless as far as the sites all say.
