Kooks vs. QTP

Hi everyone,

I am looking at getting a full header setup minus catback....LT's YP with cats etc. etc.

I have it narrowed between Kooks and QTP. Both are the exact same price I am just wondering what your opinions and experience are with these brands.

any help is appreciated

Use the search button. Search for Kooks QTP there is a 4 page post on the comparison with a poll, most people voted for QTP. Im ordering some tomorrow while they are on sale.

Try posting this in the external engine section, you will get better results.

I suggest you go with the kooks.I installed qtp 3 weeks ago and I have had two problems already.1)the steering linkage is scraping agaist the header,2)the qtp - mufflex y pipe sux period.It hangs real low and I had to go to mufflex so the could re angle it. Also the y pipe keeps banging ever time I hit the gas hard.Spend a 100 bucks more and get the kooks trust me.

I'd say QTP. Especially because they just added the High velocity merge collectors. It used to be a 400 dollar option and now its added into its price. Anyways, I have heard of Kooks having really bad pr of late and most QTP tuck up very nice. Im not sure if they are still polishing their headers but they look awesome too.
