You don't even need those if your stockers are in good shape, they are about $70 bux from the stealership for a set of 8.

But NO, you don't need gaskets.

However, you do need new coolant plugs and a front crossover pipe from a 2001+ car though. Were you aware of this?

Is the ls6 intake new? If so it will have new gaskets in it. If you need to get new ones go to a car quest they sell them for about $40.

I made my own plugs and cross over. Took the stock coolant pipe cut the 2 back pieces off welded them and stuck on some rubber boot things just for good measure. Then cut the front of the piping so it was just 1 pipe running from the either side welded the hole of course. Although i haven't ran the car yet but it'll work.

I DID have a problem with the intake sitting flush on the heads though cause of those wires that sit under it that go to the middle of the valley. I had to peel off the tape that was holding a little black clip off those wires so the intake could sit right. Just an FYI i dunno if anyone else ever had this problem.
