Default QTP Dual QTEC Y?

Hey guys im going to order some QTP Headers pretty soon, and i was thinking of going with a DUAL cutout setup on my ORY, have you guys tried this Y pipe from qtp? if so what is the grouns clearance you guys get on stock height and lowered cars They sell the Y for 650 with the cuctouts, but i emailed qtp and they said i can get it for like 300 without the cutouts. or should i just get someone to custom make me one?

i would get an ory without cutouts and put one in the i pipe. i have never seen that y pipe on a car, but the catted y pipe i had hung pretty low. if you have the money, go get a stainless one made. stainless headers, stainless catback, why not stainless y pipe?

i have it, the ground clearance is pretty bad and the electric cutouts were trouble frome DAY ONE . also, when the cutouts are closed it really hurts the flow of the exaust the way that Y pipe is set up. my next step is going to be duals.

Its a lot easier/cheeper to get a custom one. They all fit differently and sometimes the ends dont match up. mine only cost $100

I'm also trying to figure out a way to have dual cutouts, but only because I intend to run dual cats. I want the dual cats to help tone the noise and gas odor. I leave for work at 5:45am and my neighbors don't appreciate how it sounds without cats. So I picked up two slip-in cats for a JetHot y-pipe, and will install them about 18" before they merge at the Y. And I'm trying to figure out the best route for having the y-pipe made so it still has the cutouts in front of the cats, and moderately decent ground clearance.

Once I figure out a way (probably in 6 weeks max) I'll post the setup publicly.

Thanks for the replies guys! i think im going to ditch the Dual cutout system for now, my car is lowred and im 100% sure im gonna break one, my freind scrapes his and he is in stock suspension! so im gonan go with a TSP td system and try to avoid as much speedbumps as possible, atleast if it scrapes i dont have to get out of the car and pic up broken parts!

The only problem with dual cutouts is the loss of scavenging done via the Y pipe.

Also if you run good cats they will flow as well as any good muffler and shouldn't have any real affect on flow. This means that losing the scavenging would probably have a bigger LOSS of HP then simply running good hi flow cats.
