It is as LS6 style manifold, however I had the same question as you and the results were overwhelmingly in favor of the LS6. You can get the LS6 manifold with all the collant lines, plugs, and gaskets from slponline.com for $399+ shipping. It is by far the cheapest place to get it and you have your choice of egr or non-egr, the non-egr one being the one thats $399. I ordered mine from there and im just waiting for the spring to install it.

I have the Weiand/Holley manifold for the bling. From the feel driving around, it actually has more low rpm torque compared to the LS6 I took off. The ports as they go into the heads are narrower, so the velocity is boosted. That helps throttle response and low speed power. I could port, but the car is just as stout.. if not better than before the swap.
I don't know the flow or dyno #'s but I'd say that comimg from a base LS1 manifold there will be a nice bump in felt performance.

I have the polished holley on mine, and I now have an intake leak from it not sitting right, I am either going to get new gaskets and try changing them or get a ls6, plus when I had it dynod and tuned due to the heat sink I lost hp every pull. but it sure as hell looks nice

I'd definately go with the LS6 for all out power.
But if you want something custom, you shouldn't fear a metal intake. They've been around forever and they're proven. You can't beat a polished manifold in the visual drag race.
