SLP 85mm MAF, should i descreen?

i wouldnt descreen it (or take out my filter at the track) just because i have the kind of luck that if i d something will **** it up and im too poor to replace the motor now. but i think its only worth 2 hp or something, just do the tb bypass mod, probly make more power without risking an important part of your motor

Descreen it. Seriously. This is something that will always cause debate.
If you are willing to take risks, the risk involved in doing this is most definitely screwing up your tune. If you can live with that, then have at it. We do have the technology to tune around this though.

Ive seen and heard nothing good about SLP MAFs. Unless you have it tuned for that MAF, it will screw up your car. Just what I know from experience
Descreening it just means it flows 150-200cfm more. If you are the person tuning your car feels it will be useful, then do it

for what its worth i swapped out to a SLP 85mm trying to diagnose something and it dynoed the same EXACT numbers and A/F.
