Easiest install, pacesetters or ls6 int
LS6 intake took me about 2.5 hours in no hurry at all, being i didnt want to scratch it up. i spent 4 hours sanding it, and $60 painting it. LS6 intake is EASY. Mac mids were not bad, but way more involved in the LS6 intake. Both were not friendly to the hands.
I still have scars from the wiper cowl puting the intake on
Any specific tools you would recommend using? Also what was the most difficult part of putting the intake on?Trending Topics
When you do the intake, remove the oil pressure sending immediately or risk breaking it. They are fragile and you need a special socket to remove them (get one at napa or autozone for $7). A new sender is $40. I broke mine and I was being careful.

That's what a broken one looks like
It sticks straight up towards the back of the block between the intake and brake booster hose. What happens is when you pull the intake, the hose catches it and snaps it. https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...chmentid=52504
