FLP? is it realy ceramic coated? I was talking to my friend and he mentioned that someone people were complaining about this! I tried to search the forum but the post were deleted or something!

I have coating from the old coating company with coating that 'rusts' and mine look just as good as the day I bought them. Ive heard lots of people who have had rust develop on their headers have lots of salt on the roads, live near the ocean, or park in the ocean itself. I live like 3 minutes from the ocean and have no problems with the mrusting. The new coating company is supposed to have a fairly good reputation. Would I buy the FLP's again? In a second. Best setup out there, its only expensive because your getting the *complete* kit, headers, coating, bolts, gaskets, y-pipe, cats, offroad pipes and all the required clamps. Its a great package, do a search and see what people say. Hope this helps, good luck with your purchase.

Re: FLP? is it realy ceramic coated? I bought FLP's in December & put them on the SS. When I took them off in March they were rusted at the collectors. Great headers but they do rust. I'm leaning towards TTS on my WS6 now....

Re: FLP? is it realy ceramic coated? I never thought that was questioned. Yes they are coated. Now have they/do they have problems with rusting still; yes. Hopefully they have/or will fix that. But they are still great headers.
