Tech help please
The thermo, alone in our electric fan controlled cars won't do anything to keep the car cooler.
If you install a cooler thermo, and either reprogram the fans to turn on sooner or install a fan switch will keep the car a little cooler. It is a negilgable amount on the OEM temp gauge.
I have the 160* thermo and the fans programmed to 180* and the car stays a little bit cooler. Every little bit helps. I didn't have the fans programmed to 160* since I felt they would run absolutely all the time.

Like was said before, setting your fan temp too low will have the fans running all the time. That would annoy the hell out of me.
I have the switch and just turn it on and off when I want.
