B&B Tri-Flo, will it be too quiet???
I really want this system, although I want a system that sounds agressive. I have JBA shorties, stock cats, and SLP Y-pipe (I also have an ATR cat back which sounds awesome, but looks and fits poor) on the car now, this might make it a bit louder that it would be with stock manifolds. I want the B&B, it looks awesome!!! If anyone knows, please post your opinion. I don't want to be disappointed with the sound.
Thanks,
Dan

Re: B&B Tri-Flo, will it be too quiet???
Personally i LOVED my B&B before i got my GMMG. I thought it was the best sound but it was too quiet for me. IT wasn't silent but i wasnted more growl. Has a very nice smoothe a deep tone and get beautiful when you rev it. I would tell you it would be louder w/ the mods you have done already, however, i have no idea what an ATR sounds like so i can't say it would be louder. However i know you would love the sound.

It isn't a loud exhaust at all. It has a nice deep growl that sounds great to me. No drone at all and very quality system. I think you will be happy.

That wave file sounded sweet!!! Perfect IMO!!! Do you guys think that long tubes would be louder than shorties??? If my car sounded like that one did, I would be very pleased!!! Also, that guy with his WS6 said that the B&B is not the most free flowing system??? Do you think that it is very restrictive???

My B&B sounds really good with my Hooker LTs and ORP. Not raspy and still has the classic B&B sound.
I did get a cut-out last week, but I have not driven the car with it open yet since it's so LOUD. I will dyno with the cut-out open and closed next week to find out how much of a restriction the B&B has and let everyone know.

They do get quite a bit louder with some miles..I have probably 10,000 miles on mine now and it isn't that quiet..its not as loud as a loudmouth either though. It is good for lack of resonances in the interior but does get plenty loud at wot.It also sounds much nicer now with my b1 cam in there.I am sure it will get perfect for me when I get some longtubes..not sure if I want to run cats or not. Will see.

I'm running this exact setup, except I gutted my cats. It's not too quiet, with or without the cats, especially after you get a couple thousand miles on it. What you really need is to get the B&B and put a cutout on with an MPPII power plate...that's livin' large!

Re: B&B Tri-Flo, will it be too quiet???
I thank everyone for their responce!!! Anyone else feel free add to this thread. I'm pretty sure I'm getting this system, but it is my second choice. I really wanted a Whisper system, but they are not being made any more!!! I spoke with the owner, and he said he could not compete with the larger companies (Corsa, Borla, SLP, etc.). Oh well, the B&B system will not be as aggressive sounding but the tips sure are nice!!! Thanks again for your help everyone!!! I hope I'm not let down by the lack of sound!!!
