Wondering what the general consensus on the JetHot LTs is. I would love some Kooks, but they are so dang expensive, and QTP's are pretty pricey themselves. Any thoughts are appreciated...

i myself would just get a pair of hookers or pacesetters, they work good and you will have some extra cash left over for the clutch that's my input. ( but take my advice with a grain of salt, i'm a cheap bastard )

Haha. My only concern with the pacesetters is that I know that about 1/4 of them make the y-pipe bang underneath, and then some people have problems with the coating wearing off. I know they are great for the money, but I don't know if I want to deal with those issues.

Cool deal. I haven't ever heard anything bad about the JetHots, but they seem to not get mentioned very much.

The pacesetters are just as good as the jet hots, if not better. One nice thing the pacesetters have on the jethots, is a thicker flange. The extra money you spend on the jet hots won't buy you a better header. I saved some money and bought the pacesetters.

Jet-Hots here , had them for 2 years and they still look new and I picked up around 30rwhp with the headers and True Duals, over my manifolds and Loud mouth exhaust

I used to have the Pacesetters and now I have the Jethots. In my mind there is not even a question. Get the Jet Hots!! I had a hell of a time with the pacesetters, they didnt fit right, the ypipe banged on the car. Save yourself the trouble, spend a little bit more and do the jet hots!!

so the jet hots fit good, you dont have to cut or notch anythng?

i was thinking about getting rims but whats the point of looking good and going slow, so i figured i would get my exhaust done first, but i think qtp headers are a little expensive, so i think ill be going with the jet-hots as long as nobody hs haad any problems with them. I really dont hear about anybody using them to much

Was this the old or new pacesetters? They new one's usually slip right in.

I believe you are mistaken the Jet Hots have a 3/8" flange and 16 gauge steel that is the same for the Pacesetters the Hookers are 5/16" flange and 18 gauge steel. I prefer the Jet Hots over the Pacesetters IMO just a little better fit on everything I have installed lots of both. But the Pacesetters are cheaper. Good luck!

i started reading that thinking you were talking about the jet hots, i was like "well screw that idea" but then you said to get the pacesetters to fit.

well since it doesnt seem like anybody has problems with the jet-hots, i think ill be getting those

Yeah. When my friend and I put his pacesetters on we didn't notch anything, but it took us FOREVER to get his driver side hearer on. We should have notched it because it would have gone in a lot easier.

I think I'm going to go with the JetHots as well. I don't want to deal with the banging y-pipe that is somewhat common with the pacesetters.

My pacesetter's slipped right in took me 5 min's to slide them in from under the car. I just had it on jack stands too.

That's good to know! I always thought the jet hots had the same flange as the hookers.
