Just wondering if its hard to gut my cats, or could it be done by your average person with common sense? Does this add much horsepower or just make it sugnificantly louder?

The ceramic honeycomb is pretty tough, but
once you crack it it's all downhill. The
only time I gutted a cat, I just kept ramming
a crowbar down it until it broke. You need a straight shot at it. Now that I have air tools,
I'd use the zip gun (air hammer) and an expendble
chisel bit.
But I'm leaving mine alone another 5 years,
until the extended warranty runs out....
