What gains in MPG with bolt-ons?
My car gained an average of 1 mpg in my normal driving. The car averaged 23 mpg before and averages 24 mpg now.
By the way, driving to Rockingham, getting in 5 passes in the 1/4 mile, the car still averaged 25 mpg.
Best mpg was 32.8 mpg on a trip
I think these LS1's are the best engines ever!
with a 6 speed.
Thats with the SLP air lid & dual/dual I just got
ported MAF ends but won't know for a while how they change the MPG.
25 to 28 MPG I think u boyz are using new math

Your pretty lucky.....My car doesn't go very far, I average about 15MPG with about 65% highway.....Funny thing is too that recently I did sort of a test and drove my car about 150 miles on the highway at cruising speeds and whenever I had it on the street I kept it at below 2000 rpms.....So basically I drove the car about 200 miles with keeping it under 2000 rpms, obviosly sometimes I went over a little.....I averaged abot 18MPG Oh well guess it'll just cost me more for gas.....

I would say if you had no mods and get 18 miles, highway, to the gallon you need to seek a mechanic. Something is WAY off. I get like 25-28.
