Default Shopping List for headers

I have an 02 t/a and want to do headers. I was planning on headers on my LT1 but never got around to it. I had a huge shopping list with each and every neccessary thing to make it perfect.

Is there anything major I will need after these:

Pacesetter Coated LTs !air
Pacesetter ORY
O2 Sims
O2 extensions

(I will get tuning after i get a cam or other major mod)
Will I get a code for no air pump?
I will either reuse the gaskets or the ones that come with the headers. I don't think locking bolts are neccessary or anything like that so i will use the ones that come with it unless i have problems.

as soon as you remove the air it will throw a code.
with the ORY you dont need o2 simms and
if you dont buy the sims and forget the extensions you can buy rear o2 sensors from a vette and they will be long enough

dont use the paper gaskets, they'll just leak. buy factory gm metal gaskets, pacesetters come with new header bolts

I just did Hookers on my 02 T/A. What I bought:

headers
Y-pipe/duals
new GM Gaskets
PB Blaster (hose all bolts down as early as possible, helps a ton)
anti-sieze (for all bolts, plugs, O2 sensors)
O2 extensions
3/4 plug to cap airbox fitting
EGR/AIR blockoff plates if you need them
new spark plugs (might as well) I used NGK TR55's
tune (AIR and no cats are both going to throw codes and theres no AIR sim that I know of ) or just ignore the light like I did for now.

make sure you have a nice variety of extensions, joints, etc cause some of those bolts suck to get to. Some say you need to grind the block tab down on the drivers side, I didn't but thats because I just pushed the damn thing through there and didn't worry about scratching the coating. If you care about that, get something to file/grind down that part with. Before you start, make sure you have all the pieces you need to connect all the exhaust sections together. Worst thing ever is to get mostly done with it only to find out your missing a clamp somewhere, its 12:00am on Sunday so no stores are open, and your neighbors are going to be pissed tomorrow morning at 6:00am when you crank up your open header car to go to work

Pretty much what I got for my install, I didn't use the extensions, I went with the bosch 13111s, the wire is longer so it reaches without adding extensions, and the heater is hotter, so it helps keep the SES light from going off
As for pissing off the neighbors, I finallygot my revenge for many mornings of loud assed harleys being reved @ ohgod30

My neighbors already HATE me. I have a LT1 with open cutout i go down the street with at 6:30 in the morning. Now the T/a Is pretty loud with the dynomax as well.

I am gonna get headers, ypipe, gm gaskets, cheapo o2 sim off ebay, etc.

Btw, would it be a problem if i spliced in my own extensions on the oxygen sensors. I would use the proper guage wire and insulate it correctly. Will there be any problems?

The pacesetters should slide right in from below. Also, try calling some shops around you about extensions. I did, and got 2 used extensions for 10 bucks and have no problems!

When you do headers, it's always a good chance to do new plugs and wires.

pacesetters come with new header bolts and all the wiring you need to extend the o2's.. i extended mine last nite and took about an hour. once the car is running and ready for a tune i'll be switching to the bosch 13111
