who has the supermaxx system?

well,today went awsome. i cant belive how well the combination of the supermaxx and the magnaflow went together. the quality of both sytems are awsome in my opinion. at idle its not to loud but when you step on the gas it sounds stout!!! no codes,no burning plug wires,and no headaches. although i think a good tune will help out. i think it could run a little better. i took some up close and personal pics of the system. check out the clearance and how awsome it looks.

I just got a set of MSD Superconductor 8.5 wires, and I found the plug boots are bendable, they stay at the angle you bend them to.
I ditched the plug heat shields a long time ago.
BTW: I installed my Supermaxx's, good fit, fell right in, very surprized; haven't started up yet, have to put AIR tubes, lid, battery back on tonite.

my msd wires dont bend like that. i just kept the heat shields on the part of the boot that touches the header. but i forgot to do that with one wire and theres one spot where on the boot got a little burned.but its just a tiny ashy spot. as a matter of fact i just took off the wires today to re torque the header bolts and to my suprise they were totally tight and i didnt have to tighten at all.
yea, the fitment is awsome with this system.did you have to remove the oil filter like i did? what catback did you go with?

I did not have to remove the oil filter; at first I thought I had to remove it, but then I moved the header forward a few inches and it practically jumped up there (just as well since it was after midnight already).
At present I have my stock catback, but I'll be shopping for one over the next couple of months, MagnaFlow looks good to me.

it seems the passenger side collector flange bangs the heat shield, so it looks like I'll be hammering on the shield, or removing it (I didn't replace the engine mounts yet... does this matter...?);
did anyone else get this on theirs...?
