that helps.. but sure theres more flow? but how many horse does that equal? im guessing it would have to be mendrel bent for actual increases in power? i em still almost concidering duals.. but there are to many cons to it.. ground clearence.. how to make the back bumper look good with no tips.. getting a shop that will actually do a good job designing it. thanx again for clearing that up.. im not completly convinced on getting duals yet! hah but u got me closer.

The sound is alot different, and some like it better. As far as the back bumper issue, they can be made to run all the way back... unless you just want dumps.
Also...you actually drop weight switching from a catback system into a x-pipe system. You lose about 40-50lbs.
Btw...my exhaust consists of...MAC headers, no cats, Dr Gas true dual 2.5" x-pipe system, dual cutouts, Dynomax bullet mufflers, turndowns before the axle.

The routing is a little difficult. Not much room to work with under our cars. But after everything is said and done...you actually have more ground clearance. On the x-pipe system, the pipes tuck up. They don't hang down like y-pipe systems do.
