I have had my SLP pulley for over a year and no charging problems. I bought mine with the belts.

I had all three March pullys on my 25th annv. vert. auto. Crank, altinator and waterpump. I did drive around with a long metal prybar and a few tools so when my altinator would crap out i could change it when broke down. I would pull out the altinator, hop in a cab, exchange for a new one at auto zone (or whatever shop was around) then reinstall and be on my way. This happened 3 times in 10 years. As soon as your headlights get dim LOOKOUT!
