I'd vote for some 1&7/8 Dynatechs with the collectors welded on and THEN coat the headers.

I'd go into 3" ORP and dual 3" cutouts.

Tony, do you still need convincing about my recommendations for 3.5" exhaust and merge collectors after reading this https://ls1tech.com/ubb/ultimatebb.p...c;f=1;t=006114

Just imagine the additional gains he would have seen with the straight 1-7/8" headers since he has a stroker

Let's get on it..... whach you waitin' fo boy?

He probably would have posted by now if he had changed exhausts and picked up some good power. I think he has a lot to gain by going to set of true duals (probably would have to take them over the axle into a pair of quiet street mufflers, knowing Tony ) and 1 7/8 straight headers.

Tony talk to Judson from SAM..
I had an interesting conversation with one of his friends about headers for our engines.

I can tell u on a 346 JUDSON reccomends a
1 3/4in header w/a 2.5in collector...He also went on to say the MACS are one of the BEST headers out for the LS1.

Of course he's talking strictly on a 346.
The other 2 he likes our TTS,FLP's

I'd call him and ask his opinion....

Interesting news JS. I am working on a cutout set up and I just wanted to hear how things went with his new set up.

Thanks
