Poly Motor Mount problem....

Ok guys I got my poly motor mounts installed today along with my pacesetter lts and a custom y pipe with cats....Today when I was leaving the shop when I would come to a stop in Drive at idle, the brake peddle and floor board around it would rattle. It would stop when I let off the brake or put it in Neutral or Park...Any ideas what is going on? I dont have the Solid Motor Mounts so I thought I wouldnt have any vibrations.

PS no vibrations from the transmission or shifter...I still have the stock tranny mount

u will get some vibrations with them being new, i have the poly mounts and pacesetters and she vibrates a little bit still. When i had the stock exhaust with the poly mounts i felt the motor a lot more than stock, which is normal. Doesnt sound like its anything to worry about.

Ya that was what I was thinking, that the mounts havent had time to break in yet (if thats the right term). But thanks as long as thats normal, would getting poly trans mount help this out? or make it worse?

From what I've heard, going to a poly tranny mount makes the vibrations much worse. I'm sticking with poly motor mounts and rubber tranny mount.

Makes sense, JMM, Ill stick with the same as you. The vibrations arent anything unbareable, I dont mind the foot massage

i have zero problems from my poly trans mount. gring off the 2 humps, and dont use the extra plate

Id think, but am not sure that A4's will have more vibrations than M6's since they idle in gear, unless you pull it out of drive everytime you stop. I only have vibrations when in gear at idle, I cant feel any when accelerating...usually M6's will be in Neutral at stops or at idling.

right?
