Any body use Bosch Platinum plugs?
Don't do it. They cause me nothing but misfires and backfires. Swapped out to ngk's the next day and everything went back to normal. They are crappy plugs that I used just while waiting for ngk's to arive, but Ill never do that again.
I run them without any problems. I have had 2 sets of them and some NGK, couldnt tell the difference in any of them except with one of the porcelains was cracked on one of the plugs, now that made it run like crap

I met a gent at the track lastnight that said he picked up 3hp and 3tq with the +4's in his C5, I don't know if it's or not but it's his story not mine. I run autolite plats in my 99 Z28, no stored codes or missfires.

Spark plugs should definitely boost your performance. If you get a misfire or glow plug effect then your plugs definitly hamper your performance. Pretty good improvements for only ~$50...
Most people that say they "feel" a HP increase with new plugs usually have worn out plugs to begin with.
I have never noticed a difference between any of the different plugs that I have run (without changing from OEM gap). For most of our setups, I think a little too much emphasis is placed on the plug by most people.
As for the Bottle boys and FI folks I think its a different story.....
