hey whats up guys. I am going to order my QTP race style headers and tsp td's and ls6 intake manifold, they will remove my !EGR and !AIR. Ok i have been reading i dont need 02 sims or extensions, i read that i can get bosch rear 02's from the vette right? well how many do i need? im new to this 02 stuff. hehe can i just go get them fom autozone or something? if im getting a new intake do i still need block off plates? if so where can i get them? fill me in on what i need, i did search but some things didnt clear up. i just need to know about the 02's and block off plates.

For the front O2 sensors, you can use the Vette rear O2's (Bosch 13111 IIRC) so you won't need 02 extentions. You will need 2 of the vette sensors.

For the rear O2 sensors, you will need O2 sims or get the rear O2's tuned out. You will need 2 Sims if you use them, rather then getting them tuned out.

The LS6 intake does not use EGR. You can remove EGR and will not need a block off plate since the LS6 intake doesn't have one, and neither do your headers (if your getting race style headers)

You can remove the AIR system and won't need a block off plate because your headers will not have AIR provisions (if you get race style headers)

Hope this helps.

One thing you should know if it matters the Vette O2 sensors are quite a bit more expensive than the extensions but in my opinion they are worth the money. Also with the headers out it would be a good time for poly engine mounts.

Ok so i will be getting Vette rear O2's (Bosch 13111 IIRC) for the front, and i will be getting the rears deleted because i will be getting a tune after i do this install. but would my car run like **** if i dont have the rear 02s in the back, while im waiting for the tune, il be tunning couple weeks or a week after install.

ebay has them i know.

i think theres one in the for sale section. you only really need the driver side (they are both the same) because the engine torques over to the passenger side.

you cars performance will not be hindered by removing the rear o2's, egr, or air. They are emissions equiptment only, and removing them will merely throw a code.

The vette rear's are higher voltage and work better with the more rearward location of your O2 bungs when using longtubes. They will show changes in your A/F ratio faster than stock O2's with extensions.
