Mock-up your catted y before install. You will probably need to have the pipe ends expanded. It was need w/ my install and I have seen others post up w/ the same issue.

I used a lift, and it went in like butter, no problems whatsoever. You probably just need to jack the car higher.

If we got SLP longtubes to fit with a floor jack alone, Pacesetters should be easy.

check the little casting tab on the block. thats all that held me up, just ground it down a little bit and the header slipped right through.

Get the car high as hell. When i installed mine, i had the collector pointing straight at the ground when i installed mine. Had to do the same with a set of Kooks on a friends car.

You can also unbolt the tranny mount from the tranny crossmember and shove it over toward the passenger side of the car for a little more clearance. This defiantly takes 2 people to do.

You may also want to take your steering joint off as well since it is on the drivers side . The ease of install was like night and day once it was off.

with your car on jackstands, get the jack and lay a block of wood on it longways and jack up on the oil pan or between the motor/trans. this will lift it enough on the sides to get the header in there. MAKE SURE WHEN YOU JACK IT UP.. DO NOT DO IT TO MUCH AND LIFT THE CAR OFF THE STANDS.. !!!

Get an extra set of hands to help. Get the car as high as possible (safely) we used an old set of wheels to get the back of the car of the ground and jackstands. We also had to take out 2-3 spark plugs and we thought we we're goning to have to grind that piece on the block but we didnt. It was tight but they went in pretty easily without those other 2 plugs in.

cool, thanks for the follow up. It seems its always either the block tab or the height of the car.
