Macs on, Temp up..

Why would my car run 15 degrees hotter than average when i installed my mac headers w/orp? Does this mean that the a/f ratio became lean?

I dont honestly know why it would. I never noticed it on mine. Are you looking at the factory gauge, or A Tap or scan master??

Both atap and gauge says it is hot, i guess i just need to get the 160 thermo and fan switch, the temp isnt high enough to be harmful.

Are the Macs coated? If not, thats where your problem is. Macs give off more heat than stock manifolds, so your under hood temps will rise upon installing them. I have the 160 stat and programmed fans and I have no problems. However on a stock cooling system you will probably see a slight increase in temps...

I also think your FTRA might be heating up the temps, along with the uncoated macs, i didnt even think of that the other day when we were talking about the temps.
