Ported TB and throttle blade?

Default Ported TB and throttle blade?

I just got back my ported and polished throttle body from a sponser here and when i put it on my car the blade does not close all the way I took the TB off another car 00 i believe and mine is a 98 with ASR (or TCS whatever you want to call it) should i adjust the cables to get the throttle to just shut or what??? PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!

otherwise a ported and polished throttle body for an 00 camaro just went on the market

and here is the ported polished i have done nothing yet and am waiting to here before proceeding notice how the throttle is open just a little and the throttle stop doesn't hit the idle screw:

I think a 98 and a 2000 are not interchangable. I think 1998 and 1999 will work and then 00, 01, 02 will work

a little confused.... you have your idle cable set right? ... because in the 2nd pic it's not even connected

i dont have a idle cable....fudgecicles i think this would work just fine by lenghtening the cable but i dont think i want to anyone else have any help?

any reason why everything bolts up fine? it seems like all i have to do is lengthen the throttle cable with the ASR brackets...

The 98-99 and 00-04 TBs are not compatible, you will have to change the shafts out for it to work properly.

Got your PM and have returned with an answer . Just swap throttle shafts and youl be good. Who done the porting on the TB?
