Re: what's needed 2 intall ls6 intake on 99ta? Usually when you get the intake it will come with a kit or you can buy it seperately. It will have to plugs and one pipe. Real easy install. Re: what's needed 2 intall ls6 intake on 99ta? When I installed my LS6 manifold, I didn't do anything to the coolant pipe going across the front between the heads, just bolted it on. Is there any danger of harming anything? It seemed to bolt right on!
