Question about SLP Blackwing Im just starting to do engine work on my SS and i was wondering about my air box lid.... it says SLP Blackwing on it.... so does that mean i have that whole kit on there already or is it just the air box lid????? i have no idea ....

QUESTION someone please answer b/c im a moron i just need to know what air induction i have on my car.... the air box lid reads SLP Blackwing... but i dont know if that is just my air box or if it is that package that is available... how do i know?

that's what the lid i have looks like, and the ones everyone else has or talks about looks like that also. help any? and the blackwing might flow as well, but i'm not sure so before you take it off and toss it for one of those i'd check it out.

and it's the only better flowing LID that's smog legal in california for our cars. don't mess with the lid, leave it on there cause if you replace it thinking you'll get more hp with another lid you'll be just plain retarded . . . but i'd replace the filter if i were you. 
jk man jk. true true BUT i actually gained acouple horsepower and since i don't have the money for a cam to be put in or LT's to be installed the smooth bellows was a good way to go. and yes i actually did notcie a gain when i added the SLP lid w/the high flow filter and the smooth bellows
