I need help with muffler selection..
Just a thought, but if you really want to keep the dual outlets, want a single in/single out muffler, and you don't mind spending a few bucks extra you might be able to pick up a Loudmouth and just install a 3" Dynomax in the I-pipe.
Regardless, you'll be hard-pressed to find another muffler that'll beat the flow capabilities of a Dynomax Ultra-Flo. I've also found them to be relatively quiet if that factors into your decision.

Just have a small hole in your int pipe over the axle. Weld in a piece of three inch tubing and run it as the passenger side outlet of the dual.
The hole only needs to be very small (Allows steam/exhaust to come out of that tailpipe) and wont affect noise/flow at all.
Easy to do and cheap.
You can set it up with dual 3.5 inch chrome tips. (the drivers side will be the REAL side with the flow going through the single outlet muffler) The pass side will be from the int pipe over axle area with the very small hole and 3.5 inch tip.
Very cheap and easy to do.

I was going to do that myself... but I was just going to take the muffler out, fabricate a Y-pipe past the axle, so as to run 2 pipes out the back, and put a bullet in the I-pipe. Shouldn't cost more than $150-$200 tops.

I went to a muffler place to get their take on my exhaust situation. The guy said there is no way oil is going to clog up my SLP muffler. Plus, he let me listen to his 95 Camaro Z28 with Dynomax Ultraflow on it.. It was the welded version. It was louder than I care to put on my car. He let me hold a Dynomax UltraFlow muffler. That thing is straight thru... I thought you guys said it was quiet.. It was loud on a car with no headers. I can imagine what it would do to my car..

Vince, where did you go... I mentioned that based on my experience the Ultra Flo's are relatively quiet. I am running an Ultra-Flo Magnum on my truck and a good friend has them on his 5.0L Mustang. In both cases they seem very livable from inside the vehicle. Of course I could be jaded since I don't find the Loudmouth on my SS or the B&B on my Vette that bad either
Oh, and just so you know... I hate my neighbors!!! If I could run open headers, I would! I'll tell you more about them when we meet again.
