Ported throttle body
Does anybody have a graph showing a power gain from a ported throttle body because someone brought up in another thread that porting your throttl body does not give you ANY increase in power. I was under the impression that it did and I felt a gain from mine so...anybody have one???

This is a graph of what my friend Eric's (BigE) 1998 Formula put down completely stock down to the paper air filter before, and then after with the only mod being a Bo White ported stock throttle body. The gain was 8 rwhp/7 rwtq.

i thought it was the other way around, your gonna have less throttle response? as in less down low and more top end.

nope, def better throttle response down low. the lib gets in the way of the blade during its first 5 or 10 degrees of turning, porting it gets rid of that lip so the first 5 or 10 degrees of throttle have a lot better ait flow. it helps top end also but its noticible at the bottom
