Hey guys , I got the Super Sucker installed and track tested. I must say that I am impressed with the results. I gained 2 mph on the top end over my highly modded SS hood scoop. The kit was easy to install and it definitely increased my air intake flow. I actually had my foam block off plate to the air box get forced up into my SS hood inlet. When they say Ram air.....they mean it. I was going to fab up a cold air system , but I would have spent serious time trying to duplicate the positive effects that I gained from this piece and lord knows what it would have looked like. I can't wait for the cold dry air to get here.

James, those numbers sound great. I'm glad you like it. I look forward to seeing your numbers when it gets colder. Keep us posted.

I Autotapped mine after the install along with another car running the FTRA. The Intake air temp in my car was 4-5 degrees cooler. No track times yet but I will keep everyone informed.

I also did an Atap hwy fixed speed test at 60 mph and I had an 8 degree temp drop on the AIT over my modded SS hood scoop. In my case the results are very clear.I actually am planning on blocking off the bottom Super Sucker inlet with that foam noodle that kids use in the swimming pool for everyday driving. I chose to do this primarily because my wife drives the car daily and it seems like it rains about every couple of hours here. It's too simple of a swap to unplug and I get to keep that piece of mind.

What were your before and after times/mph.
Also what was the temp, baro, humidity and dew point between the tests?
thanks,
Chris

Chris- I will post the exact ETs and MPH after I settle a few local grudge challenges. I tested with and without the Super Sucker within an hour of each other. I blocked off the Super Sucker on the first two passes and then unpluged the S/S and sealed off my front Hood inlet afterwards to get the comparisons. The Air temp was 96 deg. and Humidity @ 46% on the first two runs and 91 deg/57% humidity on the last two. My car traditionally drops .06 with that change in humidity. Unless the air is dry , the cooler air doesn't benefit me. I don't worry about breaking out with this air, I instead have to dial down to run the number. Coach02 knows all about that from our SUNOCO big pay out race with very similar conditions.I ran my dial-in to win the Jackppot round (with Coach02 on my tail) and then the rest of the night as it cooled down , we continued to lose ET. I hope this helps and I wish I had the BAR and actual DA to help support the increase, but based on the conditions , I should have lost MPH and ET , but didn't. I hope this helps. Take care.
