Finally an easy PCV solution for our cars
Foreman Motorsports now sells a kit for $50 (shipped) that
keeps oil from getting into the intake manifold, doesn't
require any filter changes, and doesn't require any cutting
of vacuum/emission lines.
This kit can be removed easily when going to the delearship.
It also looks good compared to oil filled filters resting on the intake.
Install time is about 10 minutes and requires a 17mm wrench.

I have it installed on my car and it rocks

i have noticed a small oil consumption problem, will this prevent it.

No.
Dope, the GReddy catch can may have cost you more but I think you made the right choice.

If you have the funds for a Greddy can (cheapest is $83) and want to fab up your own kit, go for it. Check out the pictures and copy the design.
This is just a clean kit that is super easy to install and does the job right.
TexassTA and Dope, thanks for the replys

2) I've seen ls1's fill catchcans twice that size with oil.
3) what we need is a place to suck air out of the crankcase where there wont be oil present. Having the catchcan there is just a patch that fixes half the issue. the other half is that you'll still have oil loss (into the can).

1) then the canister will have to mount elsewhere, that is why I requested pictures (see post above)
2) You can have a 10 gallon catch can that will eventually fill up. You have to empty it out. I said that on my site.
3) Yes, that is why GM changed the design with the LS6 - for that exact reason.
And yes, you will still have oil loss - but it won't be in the intake!
I am all for having the LS6 PCV system, but I don't really want to pull the intake manifold off and buy new parts for my brand new Trans Am just yet. I'd like to save that experience for when I do a head swap.
Thank you to all of the ppl who sent email.
NOTE: This is not a business, we are just a couple of guys. The Foreman Motorsports is an inside joke and it is misleading - sorry about that. We are working with a guy with a 98 and a supercharger to get a bracket made up, so that shouldn't be a prob next week.
I've already got oil in my inlet tubing going into the can, but nothing coming back out. I've had it on for about a week and have driven approx 75 miles. Crazy!

How do we know that we will still be getting the necessary amount of vacuum required to evacuate the vapours from the valve cover effectively? This is one of the concerns Steve has been dealing with extensively as anything in the pcv line may restrict some of the required vacuum. This might be just as detrimental as the oil being sucked into the intake. (lesser of two evils).

C'mon guys. This is a simple question. If this product is any good, how bout a reply???
