***LOUDMOUTH*** Just thought I'd share my thoughts on my loud-mouth exhaust. My initial response when I first fired up my firechicken <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> I love the sound of this dang thing! Rasp, what rasp? I don't know, maybe I've become deaf already from my previous setup <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
All I know is that I love the burble and WOT scream that the LM creates. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: ***LOUDMOUTH*** When I first installed my LM I was surprised by how docile it was at idle. Even the guy at the exhaust shop was impressed. Don't ya love driving under overpasses now? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

I've been waiting almost 3 weeks from the DCV GP to get them... my only concern is DCV hasen't responded to any e-mails I sent the past couple days (and they usually responded a few mins after I ask them a Q <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" /> )

Is there anyway to get rid of drone? People talk about replacing the resonator, what can i replace it with?
Will that make it sound any louder/better??

Re: ***LOUDMOUTH*** I've had my LM now for about 3 months. I never had a chance to run against an SS or WS6 (mine's a '98 T/A 6-speed) before the install, and have gone against both since. Each time the other cars got the jump on my and I reeled them both in. One of these days I'll get some dyno #'s. My only other mods are an LA1 lid and SLP subframe's. Oh and I too LOVE overpasses and tunnels!!! (windows down, of course)

Re: ***LOUDMOUTH*** Got some dyno numbers this weekend. My T/A's got 70K easy miles on it, I only get deep into it occasionally, and the shop I went to could tell. The first pull netted 294.4 hp and 302.9 trq, the 2nd netted 298.8/310.5 and the 3rd showed 301.9/314.9. They basically said I need to drive it harder to get the ECM to adjust the A/F ratio and spark for more power. I was happy with the outcome. Next on the list are SLP long tubes to go along with the LM.
Re: ***LOUDMOUTH*** I gained around 33RWHP and 25RWTQ after installing the LM and a LID. Most of it goes to the LM of course. I dyno'd stock at 292RWHP and 314RWTQ. AFter LM and LID 325RWHP and 338RWTQ. All with $409. U gottta love LS1 motors <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
