Can we discuss the pricing breakdown on the X-pipe setups?
I'm interested in an offroad x-pipe setup working off of the MAC headers and dumping before the axle. I'm learning to HATE the horrible tone of the SLP Resonator catback and I need a change. I have two reputable shops in mind to handle the install/welding, but I wanted to get an idea of what all you have paid to have your setups completed b/c there's no way to gauge a good deal if you haven't gathered pricing info from others first.
I plan to buy the two bullet mufflers (~$30 or so each) and the Dr. Gas x-pipe as well so that I can bring them to the shop along with pictures of other's setups so that they have a good idea of what I want.
How much did you pay for your x-pipe and did you have the shop fabricate it or did you buy it from Dr. Gas (or Jegs)? Also, how much did the shop charge in materials/labor to install this?
Thanks a lot and I hope that this exhaust setup will work well with the next step...an big fat reverse split cam.

Yeah, I've seen a few other threads, but no one really broke down their pricing info so that I could get a good idea of what each piece of the puzzle cost. For example, I didn't know what a particular shop charged for just the labor. I've already finished several searches.
Cammin BeaSSt (Ron),
Thanks bud. I'm guessing that RP did the work or was it the guy (forgot his name) who left Andy's Muffler and started his own shop? He's one of the two guys I'm considering for the welding.
2000LS1,
Thanks for the link. I'll be ordering tomorrow.
I'm driving back to Albany this next weekend to pick up the headers so that I can go ahead and install them and then I'll drop by the shop and have them drop the offroad y-pipe and fab up my new exhaust. Thanks everyone.
