Default cutout question

I just bought a 02 WS6 and was going to start off by putting a lid, catback, and FRA. After doing some research I think a cutout would be better and a whole lot cheaper than a catback. My question is if a cutout is better, how much more hp will a cutout give over a catback and what brand to get. Also what size to get and where is the best place to put it.

You need a 3" cutout. Best place I've seen to mount them is under the rear passengers side seat.

cutout will flow probably at least 5hp over a catback, i thought the same thing you did and if you want one of the best flowing cutout out there with an actual 3.5in butterfly pm me (fyi qtp is around 2 5/8in actual) and i will send you the link, it is a non sponsor so i will not post it.

main use for every cutout is to be loud, give some power but mainly to be loud as hell.

Mine is currently under the rear pass. seat, but I'm going to redo it like 32of32 did in this pic:
