I have Taylor Thundervolt wires on currently and have had no problems with them at all, fitment is excellent and they look good to. I ran MSD for awhile but had some problems with boots rusting even with the die-electric grease.

Put 80,000 on the stock ones and changed to new GM performance parts wires..no change..15,000 miles later I did a coil relocation and installed taylor spiro pros and noticed no difference in the way it ran..

On my 436 I've used Taylor 10.4 Thunderbolts and my stock ones. There is ZERO difference in performance. I have my stockers back on now.
Aftermarket wires are like synthetic motor oil....Waste-o-money and time.

Your take on synthetic motor oil is wrong but in this great country we are all intitled to our own opinions..there is a ton of data to prove you wrong on dino oil vs synthetic oil..as to spark plug wires...wires are wires..OEMs work great and if you ever have to replace them the GM Performanc Parts wires can be bought for under $50...I went with aftermarket wires because I needed longer wires due to the coil pacs relocation other wise I would still be running the GMPP wires..

I just read that the Taylor Thundervolts have 40 OHM resistance. It's better than stock (which is generally around 500 OHM) but still not the best you can buy...

i think only some strange cases would benifit from lower resistance wires, like the usually crappy idle with nitrous oriented plugs. i would think a better spark might help there reported low rpm problems. just as the msd coils would probly help that too making multiple sparks, probly more so then wires.... imo< and im guessing most aftermarket wires are cheaper then the stockers from a stealership, if the stock one's wore out that would be an improvement.

imo the ls1 wires are already very short (not much resistance even with high ohm resistance wire) so theres very little area for them to improve . wires are usually rated at ohms per foot , the ls1 wires dont even look like there much if any over 6 inches.
